What keeps me motivated to work every day is knowing that design has the ability to transform the lives of thousands of people, through solutions that improve and facilitate the day-to-day lives of each of them.
Throughout my career, I have helped plan and build interfaces for websites and systems, combining user experience design (UX) and visual design (UI) to develop projects that meet, in the best possible way, the needs and desires of users and business.
Although I employ this methodology as the primary guideline in my projects, it’s important to emphasize that it’s not an inflexible rule. Each process is flexible and can be adjusted according to the specific needs of each project.
Understanding involves researching to uncover user needs and behaviors, gaining clarity on the problem.
Direction entails defining project requirements, identifying key functionalities, and beginning brainstorming for solutions.
Construction includes creating low and high-fidelity prototypes, validating solutions.
Iteration involves collecting user feedback, analyzing metrics, and conducting usability tests for continuous improvement after product launch.
Conducting tests with real users to evaluate the effectiveness and ease of use of the product, identifying areas for improvement.
Conducting research to understand the needs, behaviors, and preferences of users through methods such as interviews, surveys, and observation.
Creating fictional characters that represent different user types to better understand their goals, motivations, and pain points.
Organizing and structuring content and features of a product to ensure intuitive navigation and findability.
Building interactive prototypes of the product to simulate user interactions and test usability before development.
Continuously refining and improving the design based on user feedback, usability testing results, and evolving project requirements.
A good interface ensures that the product is accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities or limitations, being easy to use and useful for its users.
